Remote Realtime
Internet-Based Transcription
How is this accomplished? Unless your office or that
of opposing counsel's offer the following features, then your deposition or meeting will be scheduled in an executive office
suite where they have a notebook computer with a built-in camera that is connected to high-speed fast-cable modem.
The
computer is placed strategically in the room so the reporter sees the witness and the lawyers. More than one computer
can be used to show different angles - simultaneously!
An arrangement is already made with the IT folks
at the executive office suite to allow the court reporter to establish a one-way video connection from the executive suite
back to the reporter.
In addition, independent of the computer video connection, the reporter
at his cost will call into the speaker phone system which acts as both a backup system as well as the default prime voice
communication for the reporter to hear the proceedings. The reporter then is writing in realtime sending back to the
client(s) the realtime transcript to any number of devices which include bur is not limited to the following: iPhone,
iPad1, iPad2, BlackBerry, PC and Mac.
The computer(s) at the executive office suite receive(s)
instructions from the court reporter to log onto FuzeMeeting a product offered by www.FuzeBox.com and you can visit their website at www.fuzebox.com/fuzemeeting for further information. When the transcript is finally prepared as the certified transcript, it can be sent to
any of the above named devices using www.mobiletranscript.com in addition to PDF, Word, E-Tran, and plain ASCII.
Daily copy using this method is not a problem.
The realtime transcript you get is certainly going to be proof enough that it is being prepared to be finalized and
certified.
Please contact Mr. Hubbard for details and for a quote. A free demonstration
can be arranged.
