If you are contemplating sending out for bid an assignment that would involve a number of depositions,
typically ten or more, please call so I can learn as much as I can about the services you may need for what
is expected to be a protracted assignment and I may or may not adjust my rates for what would be a "bulk order for
services."
Otherwise, for one-time assignments the following rates apply.
Jury, Non-Jury
Circuit Court The Circuit Court of the State of Virginia and in some of the Circuit Courts
of the State of Maryland allows counsel to retain their court reporter of choice. If you care to retain Mr. Hubbard
to report a trial, please also note that your client must order the transcript during the trial which may include realtime
reporting where the client and more than one party, if you wish, is sitting at counsel's table receiving a live feed
of the transcript in rough draft form, either in LiveNote format or other realtime output, and ultimately the final certified
version on an expedited basis or overnight delivery.
Mr. Hubbard's appearance fee for courts and arbitrations
per AM and PM Session, is $200 or $400 per day and and after 5:00 p.m. at $75 per hour. Of course, if the client
is ordering daily or expedited transcript, these rates may be adjusted.
Arbitrations It is understood that you are hiring Mr. Hubbard to transcribe the proceedings, be it on an overnight,
expedited or regular delivery timetable. The appearance fee is per AM and PM Session is $200.00. This rate may
be adjusted if the client orders daily or expedited transcript of the complete proceedings with or without the added service
of LiveNote.
Conferences Appearance fee is based on the difficulty of
the subject matter to be reported the venue or where the conference is located, so please call for details. This is
an automatic transcript order and because typically just the original is sold, the cost per page is higher, typically starting
at $7.50 per page for 10 business day turnaround.

Transcript Rates
Please call Mr. Hubbard to work
out the rates for transcript as there are many factors that go into what will be the final price depending on all the
services the client requires and how many potential copies could be involved.

Realtime Reporting
The lawyer should have LiveNote already installed
on his or her computer and this software must be current on fees paid for tokens. Mr. Hubbard is not responsible for
paying your tokens. Please consult your firm's IT personnel for current updates. Price of rough draft is included.
It is assumed that the end-user is completely familiar with LiveNotes.
In the altnernative, if you are not
familiar with LiveNotes, try Bridge, a freeware software program delivered with Total Eclipse, the software program that Mr.
Hubbard uses to report for realtime. Bridge can be installed in one minute, yet it does everything expected
of LiveNote, but with no hidden or surprise fees for forgotten tokens or your worrying about your current licensing
agreement with another software vendor's software agreement Walk away with your rough draft. Price of rough draft
is included.
IMPORTANT: It is understood that you must also order the FINAL CERTIFIED VERSION
at the rates herein posted in addition to paying for the realtime service.
1st Hookup, $1.50 per page any
other party, $1.50 per page per hookup

Video Services
When booking your deposition with Video, kindly indicate
if you require DVD or VHS quality. You are really much better off with DVD as this technology allows you to share in-house
and with your clients the video, and at a later point when you are in trial simply point and click for instant playback
of a specific passage in the video with the transcript or just play the complete video uninterrupted.
Recording
Charges Setup Charges, minimum 2 hours, $250.00 Recording time, after two hours,
$125 per hour Cost of the original borne by the party ordering the video, that charge is $150 for AM and $150 for PM
regardless how many tapes or DVDs or CDs are used. Any other party, $150 per AM and $150 per PM sesison.
Presentation Formats You can order just a simple DVD of the deposition, but if you require the
video to be linked to presentation programs such as Sanction or Trial Director, please call for a quote. This is not
a service that we provide in-house, but would refer that work to somebody else. You can go to them directly or ask us
to bundle everything for you for one set price and get delivered your transcripts and video at the same time. Price
may vary depending on the circumstances at the time, such as, placing an expedited order.
Editing
Charges If you owuld like to have us add titles and/or fixied or scrolling text comments in the video,
just on your copy, we can do that. This sometimes help the lawyer or paralegal know where exacly to point and click
on the original DVD that you are presenting to the Court and jury. Please ask for pricing.
Shipping Charges Original cost of shipping orginal exhibts back to counsel will be added to
our invoice. There will be no "handling charges" just the actual cost of the shipment itself.
